Out with Old – In with the New

Camperdown Environmental Services is proud to announce the opening of its Ellisras branch. Our Manager Adel says that the requirement for a quality cleaning company in the area has finally been addressed by the establishment of the Camperdown. 

Smart, Smarter Camperdown

The opening of this branch follows short on the heels of the company’s successful new uniform introduction. The uniform was introduced after extensive research and consultation with various manufacturing companies. We believe that our staff will be proud of the new uniform and that this pride will be reflected in their work

Train, Train, Train

It is generally accepted that whenever staff is confronted with tasks that are repetitive in nature, a strong possibility exists that the quality of the tasks being performed will deteriorate. To counter this we appointed a highly qualified cleaning trainer. Reuben is now in the process of visiting the different areas where Camperdown performs cleaning functions whilst training them at the same time. We are excited about this new Camperdown initiative

Go Green

Camperdown has sourced a new chemical for use in portable toilets. This product which originates in Canada is presently probably the only true ‘green’ chemical in the country and has been approved by all countries in Europe as well. The SABS has indicated that the approval of the subject product by Europe automatically qualifies for their approval.

The product is purely bacteria based and initial trial testing proved that the odour which is usually associated with portable toilets is successfully combated by this product. It was also proved that the chemical lasts longer during the process whereby the ‘bad bacteria’ is consumed by the ‘good bacteria’.  

Under the present circumstances where the environmental impact of all harmful material has become a focus point, this product has really come just in time.
